Assistant/Graduate Structural Engineer:
We are looking for an Assistant/Graduate Structural Engineer with at least two year’s post graduate experience.
Duties
- Produce structural design calculations and analysis models, using computer packages & first principles.
- Working with Senior Engineer in the technical delivery of projects and design.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of AutoCAD is essential and REVIT is desirable.
- Site inspections.
Requirements
- BEng/HND (HNC) Civil or Structural Engineering
- Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years’ structural design experience in the UK
- Experience working with timber, steel, concrete and masonry
- Ability to use current design and analysis packages.
- Experience in new build and refurbishments projects.

Civil/Structural Engineer (Part time)
We are looking for Civil or Structural engineers with a range of experience from office design work to building surveys and damage assessments to join our team. The candidate may be Chartered or Incorporated or looking to train towards either of these qualifications.
The available role involves structural design in a range of traditional materials on refurbishment and new build projects. The other aspect of the role is to get out on site and assess existing structures for possible structural defects with the aim of recommending and designing the required remedial works.
Requirements of the candidate
- A relevant civil or structural engineering related degree.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Competent in the use of appropriate codes of practice and standards.
- Competent in the use of design and analysis software.
- Experience in carrying out site surveys is desirable.
- Must have a valid UK driver’s license.
